Body painting had lived in the ancient time. In the time, people would have painted to pray for prosperity. To paint on a body, it makes a connection of them new. Roy Taro expresses “the world of Jade Sun, and the people living in there” on the body of George Ogawa. Ogawa expresses the feeling coming from his deep emotion with the body movements. The actor could do anything, also run from the paint brush. At the end of the performance, how could the two men get the new connection?

ボディペイントは古い時代から私たちの暮らしにありました。古代の人びとは、狩や祭りで体にペイントをし、幸運を願いました。体に絵を描くことで、描き手と受け手の関係は新しくなります。Taro は「翡翠の太陽がある世界、そこに生きる人間」を俳優であるオガワの身体に表現します。オガワは自分の体で感じるものを身体の動きとして表現します。俳優は何をするにも自由です。ペイントから逃げることもできます。パフォーマンスが終わったとき、ふたりの人間はどのような新しい関係を得ているのでしょうか。
