There are
the sun and the lightning
Wind comes
陽光と稲妻と
風がある
The sky
Holding
Its memory of
The stars and the sun
The silver moon
天空とは
星と太陽と
月の世界だ
The ladder comes up
To the highest sky
梯子は
つねに
天空へ
むかう
When the tale of
the gate has finish,
We will
begin to
talk of
the tale
of the ladder
門の物語が
終わったとき
私たちは
梯子の
物語を
はじめなければ
ならない
A gate has opened
in the middle of the sand
in the crater
of the high land
門は
砂漠にある
砂漠は
高い山の
火口にある
When the tale will finish,
the characters will be dead
in the end
物語が終わる時
登場人物たちは
死んでしまう
The tale always ends
with the death
of the characters
物語は
つねに
登場人物たちの
死によって
おわる
Only the wind can see it
風だけが
それを
みている
The gate of the desert
sees the wind and us
The grass of the gate
has turned to be rusted iron,
turned to be the soil
砂漠の門は
私たちを
受け入れると
ガラス質の
門が
さびた鉄に
かわり
崩れおちる
The gate
swallows us
門は
私たちを
のみこむ
And we will
come through it
門を
くぐる
Inbetween
You are our dwelling
間こそが
私たちの
居住地なのだ
The sky and the earth
They have its own mainland
天と地は
その間を
もつ
The sleepless nights are
like tremendous echoes of stars
眠りはいつでも
私たちを
待っているのに
Nights await us
in their veils
夜は私たちを眠らせない
The sand fall
like the soundless storm
そして砂が
はげしく
吹きつけてくる
The air is
still dreaming
in the vast desert
of the land
空気は
とても
乾いている
Then
The sun beams onto our skin
太陽光線が
じりじりと
肌を焼く
We are free to choose
Fears like the lightless desert
選ぶことは自由だ
しかしそれは
砂漠のように
おそろしい
To choose is on your ways
We have right to choose one of them
道が複数ある
私たちは
そのいずれも
選ぶことができる
